Super Bomberman 2 (SNES) – Free and unblocked game (NO ROM) to play online
If you and your friends are binging on retro titles as of late, you’ve probably wondered whether Super Bomberman 2 (AKA スーパーボンバーマン2 Sūpā Bonbāman Tsū) for the SNES is going to be worth your time. It is the second installment of the Super Bomberman series. It was released after Super Bomberman and before Super Bomberman 3.
The original Bomberman didn’t offer much after all, even though it had solid gameplay. Well, this Blue Bomber is beyond its predecessors, having both single- and multi-player modes that can keep anyone engaged for hours.
The first few Bomberman titles had fairly straightforward gameplay. You’re expected to carefully plant bombs, get rid of enemies, and find the exit. In this game, there’s so much variety with the stages.
Some would require you to light things up to progress, while others necessitate a bit of platforming. Completing the single-player mode takes around an hour or two, but you definitely won’t get bored during your play.
By the way, unlike the earliest titles in the series, this one has boss battles. You’ll have to learn the pattern of each boss and use a special item in some cases to move on to the next level.

Super Bomberman 2 also has an interesting power-up system that makes it possible to approach each stage in a different way. For example, there are items that make your bombs bounce, making them more unpredictable.

It’s even possible to make your bombs explode across the entire stage by picking up the right power-up. Of course, there are power-ups that improve your movement as well.
This iteration of the Blue Bomber doesn’t just offer single-player fun. It’s also an excellent example of how multi-player should be handled—with lots of stages to play in and having several team modes.
And yes, each stage features its own unique mechanics. There’s one with warp portals and another features bouncy mushroom platforms. These differences will greatly affect your strategy.
Super Bomberman 2 supports a total of four players. It’s possible to mix and match the members of each team. You and your friend could go against AI, or each of you could team up with computer-controlled characters.
If you haven’t checked out Super Bomberman 2, you really should get your hands on it as soon as possible. Whether you plan to play alone or with a couple of friends, you won’t be disappointed with this retro title.
Super Bomberman 2 game has only been ported to the Super NES.
