The majority of Digmon games were developed and published by Namco Bandai, and as such a few of those games were released on Japanese-exclusive handheld console, the WonderSwan Color, a console that was itself created by Namco Bandai. This game eschews the RPG and world exploration elements to provide a more focussed experience. Players will need to feed, heal and clean up after their partner Digimon. Unlike other games in the Digimon series, in a battle, the player cannot choose the attacks a Digimon makes, and instead has to hope they have done a good enough job of raising and training that their Digimon will make the correct choice.
