Released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991 by Konami, Tiny Toon Adventures is a delightful platform game that does a great job of capturing the joy and the frenetic energy of the animated show. In this game, Babs Bunny has been kidnapped by the evil Montana Max, and it is up to Buster Bunny to save the day. Alongside Dizzy Devil, Furrball, and Plucky Duck, players make their way across 6 worlds to rescue Babs from the clutches of Monty. Each character has slightly different abilities, adding great replay value to the experience as players can tackle the familiar levels in a range of engaging ways. The NES graphics and music do a wonderful job adapting the whacky aesthetics of the show into an 8-bit format, and the gameplay is as polished as one can expect from a Konami game of this era.

Hopping onto the Super Nintendo in 1992 and also developed by Konami, Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! is a bundle of 16-bit fun that is absolutely brimming with personality. There are three difficulty levels in the game: easy, normal, and hard. While all 6 levels can be played in normal mode, players will only witness the true ending by playing through on hard. Those 6 levels see Buster Bunny exploring the halls of Looniversity and other locations from the show as he completes a variety of missions – from feeding Dizzy Devil to going toe-to-toe with Duck Vader. With eye-catching 16-bit visuals and Konami’s signature touch, Buster Busts Loose! is a SNES hidden gem that any fans of the show should track down.

Tiny Toon Adventures: Scary Dreams is an unreleased North American version of the 2002 Gameboy Advance game Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster’s Bad Dream. The reason the American version never got an official release is still unknown to this day, but despite having different subtitles and box art, the two games are virtually the same. In Scary Dreams, Buster plays through a variety of nightmares he has been having in an attempt to sleep peacefully once more. The gameplay is a standard action-platformer fair, but the combat is surprisingly deep, allowing for multiple combos to be learned and mastered. Interestingly, this game marked the final appearance of Tiny Toon Adventures characters in any form of media – gaming, television, or movies – until the 2022 reboot television series Tiny Toons Looniversity

If you are nostalgic for this classic animation series, then you simply cannot go wrong with any of these Tiny Toon Adventures games. Best of all, you can play each of them for free on your browser on MyEmulator.Online.
