Cruis’n USA (N64) – Free and unblocked game (NO ROM) to play online
Cruis’n USA is a 3D arcade racing game developed for the N64 gaming console by Midway games in 1996. It features 2-player action, awesome background music, and rare unlockables. It gives you the chance to drive a police car or a bus, and drive across different locations in the United States.
As an arcade racer, there isn’t much story in Cruis’n USA. You just have to drive and race across North America and choose the car that you want to use from four ready-made vehicles. Each car looks different from the other, but their specs and stats are the same. The bus and cop car are the unlockables.
Cruis’n USA is considered as a fast arcade racer. The cars, although there is nothing special to them, are extremely fast. Similar to other racing video games, you have to attain first place in this game so that you can advance to the next stage.
The cars have no nitro feature, but there are buttons for break, slide, and accelerate. You can also switch between manual and automatic gear shifts. So there is more to this game than other arcade racers.
The controls are responsive and smooth. But sometimes, you have to decrease your grip, especially in sharp turns. In such instances, you have to tap lightly. If you don’t, you’ll end up in a ditch. Also, the playable cars are not that durable. When you get hit, your car may flip and fly all over the place. This breaks your car’s momentum.

The gameplay is good, and its graphics are decent for a game released in the 90s. There are lots of various stages that you have to traverse, and they feature different scenery and objects that are exclusive to that stage. However, this game has low resolution generally, and some objects are blurry.
Even though it is an arcade game, it has excellent BGM and sound effects. They are better than other video games of the 90s. The BGM is solid; it doesn’t have static-like sounds.
In summary, Cruis’n USA has some shortcomings in terms of graphics and gameplay. Nevertheless, it is still an exhilarating game. It is extremely fast-paced. If you play it, it can make you feel to always want to overtake your rivals, reach the finish line, and become the champion racer of the game.
Cruis’n USA game has been ported to Arcade and Nintendo 64 (this version).
