Little Nemo: The Dream Master (AKA パジャマヒーロー NEMO Pajama Hīrō Nīmō in Japan) is a 2D adventure platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. The game follows the simple yet strange story of a young boy (Nemo) who is summoned to Slumberland to rescue King Morpheus from the evil nightmare King.

Nintendo classics are certainly gems for every collector out there. With so many action platformers released on the NES, you can hardly enumerate all of which that made your childhood extra fun and interesting.

Little Nemo: The Dream Master probably has not been so memorable to video game fanatics, but for those who have played it, the game gave enough exciting memories that its current selling price is much higher than expected. Luckily, you can play it online.

Nemo’s rescue mission occurs in his dreams so whenever a level/dream is completed, the little boy is woken up by his parents. This cycle continues until he finally arrives at “Nightmare land” to defeat the nightmare King.

Capcom did a really great job crafting the scenes of the game — from creative level themes to simple cinema shots. Visually, Little Nemo: The Dream Master is a charming and impressive NES classic. The characters are well-designed, the sprites look vibrant in their colors, and the black-sky background is atmospheric enough to draw the player into its fantasy world.

The music and sound effects are outstanding as well. Even though you cannot remember all the tunes, they certainly suit the game. The gameplay is just as great as the other creations of Capcom — smooth, well-crafted, and diverse.

As with any action platformer, the gameplay consists of various levels wherein enemies are encountered and defeated. And since every level is so diverse, getting to the next stage and then navigating it can be truly exciting.

Overall, Little Nemo: The Dream Master is one of the most interesting and exciting games of the NES. Capcom really went all out on this one. This game could probably be hard to find now, so if you find one, do not hesitate to grab it for yourself. This game is an absolute gem.
