Balloon Fight (NES) – Free and unblocked game (NO ROM) to play online
Balloon Fight (AKA バルーンファイト Barūn Faito in Japan) is a 2D arcade platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the NES console in 1985.
In the game, the player manipulates a midget who is able to move up to the sky using two balloons and by flapping the arms. The environment was made dangerous for this dauntless gravity defier. There are jealous birds in the sky that also use balloons to get rid of the midget.
This game is like a side-scrolling battle between the avian opponents and the human wherein height can be used as an advantages. Balloon Fight is a fun game that combines seat-of-the-pants scheme and arcade action. This can be pretty entertaining until the birds turn the human into fish food.
The gameplay is quite simple: Players need to kill first or be killed. Button A moves the character upward in a spurt momentum to allow delicate precision over the trajectory. While in a jump position, players should mash repeatedly to get more points.
To combat birds, sliding into their balloon should do the trick. This makes them defenseless and players get the chance to knock them down for good. However, it’s important to be careful to avoid losing a reserve of inflatables. To refill popped balloons, maintaining a reserve of these inflatables could prolong the player’s life.
Play with the balloons!
The storm clouds fire off electrical nuggets occasionally so be extra cautious. The cold water below is also a threat so don’t plunge into those dark depths or else your player dies. It’s important to note that there’s a big piranha snatching up anything that hovers near its home.
Staying alive in Balloon Fight is truly a challenge. Players need excellent skills in order to survive the dangerous environment. Fortunately, it can be played by two players to eliminate the annoying balloon birds and other opponents more easily.
Overall, this retro game is still worth playing despite the old-fashioned gameplay. Balloon Fight is not only fun to manipulate; it’s also exciting because players need to dodge deadly fishes and whack out birds in the sky. The trick is to find a way to stay safe while moving through the end of the game. In an hour or less, this gaming experience is truly entertaining.
Balloon Fight game has been ported to Arcade, NES (this version), NEC PC-8801, Sharp X1, Game Boy Advance.
