Neo Drift Out: New Technology (NeoGeo) – Free and unblocked game (NO ROM) to play online
For the fourth game in the “Drift Out” series, the Visco Corporation made an endlessly fun video game in the form of Neo Drift Out: New Technology (AKA NEO ドリフト アウト in Japan) for the NEO GEO system. This rallying racing game provides rollicking good time as you drive through countries in a unique, isometric view.
Here, you get to choose from three cars. There’s the Toyota Celica, the Subaru Impreza, and the Mitsubishi Lancer. Each one has its own clear specialty. You don’t have to think too hard about which car is better, all you have to know is which one suits your style the best.
Yes, this does limit the excitement of choosing a car since they pretty much move in the way that they’re designed to. There’s no room for pushing it to the limits and whatnot. But this is an arcade game, after all. Realism is not the priority here; it’s getting you to play as soon as possible.
The game is divided into six stages: the European stage, the African stage, the Snow Land stage, the Southern Hemisphere stage, the Scandinavian stage, and the Great Britain stage. To make things more interesting, each one has its own unique set of obstacles. like barrels, muddy roads, slippery ice, and puddles. This is a small yet important detail, because it keeps you on your toes throughout the game.
Ready to play Neo Drift Out: New Technology online?
Although the controls are fairly easy and can be quickly learned by anyone who’s ever played a racing game before (the classic A for accelerate and B for breaks), these obstacles are still able to test your reflexes, making for a fun, challenging time.
However, what really stands out in Neo Drift Out: New Technology is its visuals. Although there’s nothing breathtaking about it, the stages are well drawn and colored, and at times they even look realistic (at least as realistic as cartoon landscapes can be). Occasionally, camera is very dramatic, and feels like you’re watching a movie. When you’re making sharp and almost perilous turns, the camera zooms in on you to add tension. When you’re accelerating, the camera zooms out, giving you a wider view of the landscape.
All in all, Neo Drift Out: New Technology will be remembered as a game that puts your driving skills to the test while providing some sweet eye candy.
Neo Drift Out: New Technology game has been ported to Arcade, Neo Geo (this version), Neo Geo CD.
